Silvermex has focused on increasing its project portfolio throughout 2007, and announced four new projects within the calendar year. Currently, Silvermex has six projects in northwestern Mexico with a total land package exceeding 40,000 hectares. Principal projects include Penasco Quemado and San Marcial which contain a total of 24 million ounces silver, according to NI 43-101 definitions for mineral resources. Silvermex management is encouraged by recently identified targets on each project and is confident that further work on the targets will lead to increased resources. Work on multiple projects is scheduled for the first quarter of 2008.
