Community Initiatives
Mining is a business that can have positive impacts on not only investors but communities as well. By creating jobs and bringing in foreign investments, areas where there are active mining operations benefit from sound, sustainable mining development. At the same time, mining in most areas of the world would not be possible without the support and participation of the communities in which we work. A symbiotic relationship is born, then, from these two worlds coming together. At Silvermex we aim to be in tune with the communities in which we work, acknowledging that we are guests in their homes. We maintain open communication whereby individuals can bring forth their needs and concerns, while we work to help them achieve their goals.
